Breaking is an integral part of the 4 elements of HIP HOP culture, alongside Djing, graffiti and mcing. It was born in the Bronx of the 1970s to sublimate a difficult daily life. If you’ve seen or are going to see one of Groove Session’s main events and would like to be one of the festival’s bboys and bgirls, come and discover the art of breaking and enjoy a discovery workshop for young and old alike. The initiations are animated by the confirmed bboys of the Groove Academy.
