BRKN ON blends breakers who shaped the scene through their longevity and devotion to breaking with young dancers who still have their whole career ahead of them.

They come together to share their love of breaking and its culture, for a competition in an environment that's completely foreign to everyone.

From concrete to grass, cardboard to hotel-room floors: the environment has always brought out a dancer's raw potential and shown their skills across different surfaces and situations. An attitude at the heart of hip-hop culture.

Unexpected, because the b-boys and b-girls don't know who the other participants will be. Unexpected, because the surfaces and venues are kept secret. Unexpected, because they shape the format and co-create the event. Unexpected, because they live an intense human journey, sharing deep emotions, their creativity, and hip-hop culture.

BRKN ON, the unexpected deep trip.

BRKN ON was born from the difficult circumstances of COVID, which pushed the association to create an extraordinary event. A new concept, true to its values of inclusion, diversity and closeness, putting emotion at the centre - and true to breaking culture, bringing together people from different backgrounds and nationalities to share and exchange.

The very first edition took place where no one expected it: on the water, on Lake Neuchâtel.
